Penn State announces addition of transfer defensive back
Storm Duck is a transfer defensive back from North Carolina. Duck was a four-star recruit. He played in 13 games as a freshman in 2019 and eight games in the next two seasons. In 2022, Duck recorded 46 tackles, one tackle for loss, 1 forced fumble, three interceptions, nine pass breakups and was All-ACC second-team. He was the No. 116 cornerback in 247Sports' Class of 2019. The second semester of the university's second year began Monday. Coach James Franklin and defensive coordinator Manny Diaz are trying to solve problems in their program. Cornerback Joey Porter Jr. is off to the NFL.
