2023 WNBA MVP odds: Breanna Stewart, A’ja Wilson lead all players

We are one week into the WNBA regular season, and the oddsmakers are already making predictions. The latest betting odds speculate who will be the 2023 WNBA MVP.

The New York Liberty’s Breanna Stewart tops the list, and it should come as no surprise to those watching her play. In the Liberty’s home opener win over the Indiana Fever, Stewart scored 45 points in her Barclays Center debut, the second-most by a home player in their debut — Liberty or Brooklyn Nets. Stewart also set a WNBA record with the most points scored in less than 31 minutes played.

The reigning regular-season MVP, Las Vegas Aces forward A’ja Wilson, is second on the oddsmakers’ list for the 2023 award. If she wins back-to-back MVPs, she will join Cynthia Cooper (1997, 1998).
