Ambetter Health 400: NASCAR Atlanta betting odds, TV info

The NASCAR Cup Series is headed to Atlanta this weekend for the Ambetter Health 400, which will be the second-straight race at a high-banked drafting track.

The 1.5-mile Atlanta Motor Speedway isn’t as intimidating as 2.5-mile Daytona was last week, but it’s still a tough test for drivers considering that bump drafting and pack racing will be taking place again.

This style of racing can lead to unlikely winners considering how many cars tend to be involved in wrecks, but the usual suspects are at the top of the odds chart in Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin.

Logano and Hamlin (+1000) ran well last week at Daytona but didn’t get the results to show for it, and they appear on track for redemption with Logano the defending winner of this race.

Other favorites include Christopher Bell, Brad Keselowski and Ryan Blaney at +1100, with Bell the only one of the three to finish well at Daytona, as Keselowski and Blaney wrecked despite running well for most of the way.

Daytona 500 winner William Byron is also among the favorites along with his teammate Chase Elliott (+1200), and they’re followed by another strong pair of Chevrolet drivers in Kyle Larson and Kyle Busch (+1400).

Other notable names include Martin Truex Jr. (+1600), Bubba Wallace (+1800), Ross Chastain (+2000) and Daytona 500 runner-up Alex Bowman (+2500).

There are also some longshots that finished well at Daytona such as Corey LaJoie (+4000), Noah Gragson, Chase Briscoe and John Hunter Nemechek (+5000).

A total of 37 cars are entered in this weekend's race, which includes the 36 charter teams plus one open car, meaning each car is guaranteed a starting spot since there aren’t more than 40 cars attempting to qualify.

The Ambetter Health 400 is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. and will be broadcast on Fox. Qualifying is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 24 at 10:30 a.m. on FS1.
