Gunners’ firepower can ensure four-goal feast

Arsenal slammed six goals past Lens on Wednesday night in the Champions League and could easily score three or more on Saturday if they are in the mood again.

Their home form points to a handsome victory. Mikel Arteta’s side have won eight and drawn two of their 10 games at the Emirates Stadium.

Only three of those matches have had fewer than four goals scored and the ball has been in the net a fair few times in Wolves’ recent away games too.

Gary O’Neil’s men have been involved in five-goal defeats at Crystal Palace and Fulham, suggesting that another goal-laden and ultimately fruitless trip to the capital could be on the cards for the West Midlanders.

Seven-goal Hwang has got the hang of scoring

Liverpool, Manchester City, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Tottenham have all failed to keep a clean sheet against Wolves this term.

The Molineux men carry a real threat about them this season and the main reason for that is the scoring form of Hwang Hee-chan.

The South Korea international has notched seven goals in his previous 12 Premier League games and rarely looks like missing the target this term.

The seven, which include a second-half penalty after he had earlier struck the bar in Wolves’ 3-2 defeat at Fulham last Monday, have come from a total expected goals (xG) of 3.6.

Very few strikers can maintain ratios like that for long, but the former RB Leipzig forward is certainly worth a flutter at these odds to keep his hot streak going.

Expect Arsenal to restrict Wolves’ corner count

The West Midlanders have scored in all but one of their Premier League away games this season and that was when they were harshly denied a late penalty at Old Trafford.

O’Neil’s side have bagged nine goals in six subsequent games on the road, which currently makes them more potent visitors than Aston Villa or Manchester United.

On that evidence, the Old Gold look capable of striking at some stage on Saturday with both teams to score worthy of inclusion in any bet builder given that Arsenal have not failed to register in their last 11 at home.

Meanwhile, the Gunners have conceded the fewest corners in the top flight and can be trusted to keep Wolves from getting more than a couple.

Four of the previous five visiting teams at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League have not earned more than two corners, while Wolves’ average away corner tally of four is skewed by them getting a combined 19 on their visits to Manchester United and Bournemouth.

Wolves have won just nine corners in their other five games on the road.

The final leg of the bet builder is to back Boubacar Traore to commit at least two fouls.

With Mario Lemina and Joao Gomes suspended, the Mali defensive midfielder will have a big role to play in stopping Arsenal’s attacks from the middle of the park.

Traore has committed 12 fouls in just under three full games of Premier League football so far this season.
