Returning stars can end Leeds’ losing run

Leeds have conceded 11 goals in their previous two games, against Palace and Liverpool, so their 2-1 home win over Nottingham Forest on April 4 will feel like an age ago for the Elland Road faithful.

The Whites have sorely missed defender Max Wöber in the heart of defence, but he is in contention to start at Craven Cottage after recovering from injury.

Club captain Liam Cooper, who was alongside the Austria skipper on the bench against Liverpool, is also pushing for a first XI role.

Leeds have shown they can score goals after finding the net in each of their past six Premier League games.

With Fulham missing star striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, serving an eight-match suspension, the hosts are without their main threat in the final third of the field.

The visitors need something from this game to try to stay above the relegation zone – and while they may not be able to stop the Cottagers scoring, the Leeds attack could be able to get a goal or two and grind out a point in the capital.

Fulham vs Leeds United tip 1: Draw @ 12/5 with Betfred

Sinisterra returning to form

After a bright start to his first campaign in the Premier League, Leeds missed Luis Sinisterra when the Colombian had to spend three months on the sidelines with injury.

Now back in the starting line-up, the former Feyenoord star has been rediscovering his early-season form and scored against both Forest and Liverpool this month.

Sinisterra could well play a key role for Leeds in the remainder of the season. The attacker is well priced at 12/5 to score anytime and continue his impressive record.

Goals and cards in the offing

With two attacking sides on the pitch, it would be little surprise to see both find the back of the net at Craven Cottage.

Both teams have scored in all of Leeds’ past six Premier League games and that trend looks set to continue on Saturday.

Looking at the booking markets with Betfred’s #PickYourPunt, Joao Palhinha could well add to his 10 top-flight cards for the season.

Only Newcastle United’s Joelinton has had more cautions in the league than Palhinha this season, and the Portuguese midfielder could well find himself in hot water with officialdom again.

Peter Bankes, the referee for this one, has been averaging 4.5 yellow cards per game this season – more than any other Premier League official with 10 appearances this term.

Fulham vs Leeds United tip 3: Over 2.5 total goals and Joao Palhinha carded @ 9/2 with Betfred #PickYourPunt
