If either of these teams wants to make the NBA playoffs, they could use a victory today.

Chicago and Indiana have both lost seven of their last 10 games as they’re sliding out of the playoff picture.

However, the Bulls trail Washington for the final play-in spot by just 1.5 games and have good reason to push for that position considering the team has solid players such as DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine, and Nikola Vucevic.

Here’s my bold prediction for this game:

Bulls win and Vucevic records a double-double

Plainly put, the Bulls are just a better team than the Pacers. Chicago has an advantage in both offensive and defensive efficiency as well as rebounding. And this is all not even mentioning the fact that the Pacers’ All-Star guard has been out recently with a calf injury.

When you couple all of this with the fact that Indiana is an abysmal 10-21 on the road, it’s clear that Chicago has an obvious advantage tonight.

As far as Vucevic is concerned, I think his part is even easier than a Bulls win.

Vuc has averaged a double-double for the season with 17.7 points and 11.3 rebounds per game and he’s recorded a double-double in eight of his past 10 games.

Then when you consider the Pacers are 28th in the NBA in opponent rebounding and dead last in opponent offensive rebound percentage (27.8%), it’s not hard to envision Vucevic grabbing some offensive boards AND scoring off those opportunities.

Take Chicago to win and Vucevic to do what he’s done all season against a struggling Pacers team.

Even if you don’t bet with this bold prediction, why not secure yourself some bet insurance for another wager? before this offer ends.
