Moor goals in store again

Burnley finally got off the mark in the Premier League with a 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest on Monday, but have found life tough back in the top flight.

United are also having a challenging season, having lost four of their previous five matches in all competitions, while grappling with injury, ownership and disciplinary issues.

Erik ten Hag’s side were beaten 4-3 by Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday, but it is their league form that is perhaps a greater cause for concern following defeats at Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal plus a 3-1 home loss against Brighton last week.

Their past four games have produced 20 goals – nine for and 11 against – and this could be another high-scoring affair, with Burnley’s four league games featuring a total of 18 goals.

The Clarets’ home form is a particular concern – Manchester City and Aston Villa each scored three at Turf Moor, while Tottenham bagged five – so over 3.5 goals at 6/4 looks an appealing bet.

Burnley vs Manchester United tip 1: Over 3.5 goals @ 6/4 with Sky Bet

Rashford finding his range

With goals expected, it is sensible to take a punt on one of the forwards making their mark and United’s Marcus Rashford looks to fit the bill.

The England striker has found the net just once in the league this season, but he has had 23 shots in his five outings and his pace looks set to cause Burnley problems.

His shots tally is nine better than his nearest team-mate Bruno Fernandes and while only six of those have been on target, he is getting in the right position to pose a threat, so 11/8 to get that second goal of the season at Turf Moor looks an attractive bet.

Burnley vs Manchester United tip 2: Marcus Rashford to score at any time @ 11/8 with Sky Bet

Casemiro could try his luck

Those looking for a BuildABet option are pointed to this three-fold bet that pays 7/1 with Sky Bet.

Both teams have found the net in four of United’s last five matches and it looks likely that this match will follow that pattern with Burnley scoring in three of their four league outings and failing to keep a clean sheet.

One player to keep an eye on is United midfielder Casemiro who has not been afraid to try his luck at goal this term.

The Brazilian has had nine efforts at goal so far, four of them on target. He scored in the 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest and added two more in the midweek defeat by Bayern Munich.

Back him to have at least one shot on target, while Burnley’s Josh Cullen could be guilty of committing two or more fouls, which has  occurred in each of his past three league appearances.

Burnley vs Manchester United tip 3: BuildABet – Both teams to score, Josh Cullen 2+ fouls, Casemiro to have a shot on target @ 7/1 BuildABet with Sky Bet
