In a nice change for Saturday racing in South Australia, we're off to Murray Bridge for a bumper ten race card with the Listed Murray Bridge Cup the highlight.

The weather is fine whilst the fence is in the true position with a stack of value to be found on what is an extremely competitive day's racing.

Race 2 #5 Give Some Lip $5.00

This Will Clarken & Niki O'Shea trained 3YO gelding was well held on his debut earlier this year, before being tipped out for a spell.

He then resumed a much different horse 2 weeks ago, coming from a clear last position to rattle off some very nice closing splits before narrowly missing.

In fact, he produced the third fastest final 400m sectionals of the day, which is impressive considering there was an Open Class Listed race on the card!

He's still very much untapped and you can expect the spacious Murray Bridge trackto only be a positive.

It's a handy little race, however if this bloke can rise to a level we are expecting then it wouldn’t at all surprise to see him tackling better races later in the Spring.

Race 5 #8 Hoops $6.00

The Danny O’Brien trained visitor comes into this off the back of a huge second-up victory, when she charged hard late from well back.

She possesses some staying promise having finished a terrific runner-up earlier in the year in the Tasmanian Oaks, before failing to fire on a Heavy track against Group 3 company in Sydney.

She now finds herself in a moderate BM74 ready to peak third-up, down in the weights to just 1kg above the minimum.

Expect her to absolutely relish the wide open spaces of Murray Bridge.

I'm confident she'll run well here and the value in opening markets is too good to resist! Rates $4.
