The gelding loves Canterbury where he has two wins and only missed a place once in six starts with. Comes off a flashing second on the Kensington.

INSIDE MAIL

RACE 1

Caballus was unlucky when eighth behind McHale on debut here two weeks ago when held up in the straight and not tested to the line. No doubt should have been right in the finish with clear running. Battlefield sat outside the leader on debut in the same race and was beaten half a length into fifth place. Will be better for the experience. Les Vampires is trialling very well and will be a leading contender on debut. Led and dashed home to win his latest heat at Randwick on July 14 by four lengths. Global Empire has been narrowly beaten in both runs back from a spell. Gave Canada Bay 4kg when beaten a long head here last start.

Bet: Caballus to win

RACE 2

There There is knocking on the door after placing at each of her four starts. Tracked the speed on the rails when a half neck second to Pereille when resuming on the Kensington track on July 5. Will be improved by the run and the blinkers go on. Skip A Beat made improvement from her first-up fourth here to finish a neck third to Pereille and There There after leading. Tautou was sent forward from a wide gate to race outside the leader and showed plenty of fight to finish a head third behind Spring Lee at Gosford on July 6. Will be prominent again. Capzinzi was well backed on debut. Tongue Tie on and expect improvement.

Bet: There There to win

RACE 3

Travelling Kate rolled forward from the widest gate to be outside the leader and hit the front at the 200m before being claimed late when a three-quarter length third to New Republic here two weeks ago. Was a close fifth to Flashing Steel when resuming three weeks earlier. Ready to peak and drawn ideally. Forget the run of Decimus when blocked for a run on the rails when last at Gosford two weeks ago. Nice win at Kembla in May and placing his next two. Extra trip should suit. Olympic Theatre resumed off a let-up with a 1600m win at Hawkesbury. Good chance again. Don Pedro was just beaten by Special Envoy in higher grade last start.

Bet: Travelling Kate each-way

RACE 4

Pink Cashmere scored a big win on the Ballarat Synthetic on debut last October. Handy effort stepping up to a BM70 at Moonee Valley when fifth on Christmas Eve. Impressive storming home down the outside to win her Randwick trial win on July 14 from Kalino who won first-up at Rosehill. Tanglewood is coming off two impressive wins at Taree and Grafton. This is his biggest test stepping up in grade and up in weight slightly. The Swooper raced outside leader and faded late when seventh to Coriolis at Sandown-Lakeside on a track that suited to late closers out wide. He is unbeaten second-up. Silvanito was doing his best work late when third to Orlabent on a heavy track first-up at Wyong on July 4.

Bet: Pink Cashmere to win. Quinella 1, 10

RACE 5

Southern Chilli back in the field was three-wide and pushed wider on the bend before closing well to beat all bar Coriolis on a day suited to swoopers at Sandown-Lakeside on July 12. Will be right in the finish again. Memoria was just beaten by Florina at Newcastle before a tracking leaders on a good speed when a length second to Pink Baroque here on July 12. The Unicorn set a quick tempo in front and weakened in straight when sixth to Pink Baroque here last start. Tongue tie goes on and looks for a better performance. Misty Dreams has won her last two nicely and can figure in the finish again.

Bet: Southern Chilli to win. Quinella 1, 2

RACE 6

Amnesty won three in a row in country and provincial grade before stepping up to city level with a 2½-length fifth to Waverider Buoy at Rosehill on July 1. Can bounce back here. Shines shot to the front and looked the winner here for a few strides last start before King Of Naples got clear and came with a late dash to score. Will be prominent again. Orlabent brought up the hat-trick with a short head win from Shezanalister at Wyong three weeks ago. Lancaster Bomber is coming off a third to Diamond Diesel in the Midway at Randwick on July 8. One from one this track and distance.

Bet: Amnesty to win.

RACE 7

Media Starguest was held up in the straight and flashed late when a long-head second to Super Friendship on the Kensington on July 5. Has good numbers at this track and can build on them. Little Beginnings was shooting for three in a row when a half-neck second to Flashing Steel here on June 21 after sitting wide without cover. Raced keenly when last of seven just over two lengths behind Token Capitalist at Randwick on July 8. The Replicant has place claims on his third to Invincible Legend on the Kensington two starts back. Forget the latest run of Two Big Fari when wide without cover in the South Grafton Cup. Handy run at Rosehill first-up, gets in well with the claim and worth including in the multiples.

Bet: Media Starguest to win. Quinella 4, 5
