Horse Racing Tips Tuesday 28th November 2023 best bets and most tipped horses

There are three horse racing fixtures taking place on Tuesday and the action kicks off at Sedgefield over the sticks at 12:15, while there's alternative racing at Tramore and Southwell. We preview all today's action and pick out some of the most eye-catching naps from our racing naps table, while also look at some of the big racing stories...

Ann Hamilton's El Jefe is well fancied for the 14:20 at Sedgefield on Tuesday and the 3/1 shot has proven extremely popular with our racing tipsters as four of them have napped the six-year-old for glory today. The likes of Dean Kilbryde and Moorestyle have put up Hamilton's charge as the best bet of the day and those tipsters will be hoping he can build on a recent victory at the track and off a 5lbs higher mark today looks the one to beat. Earlier on in the afternoon, Mark Walford's Ashington is around the 9/2 mark for the 13:20 race and has been napped by three tipsters and that eight-year-old will be looking to defy top weight. Over at Southwell's afternoon National Hunt card, the Venetia Williams-trained Hill Of Tara has been napped by four tipsters for the 15:40 contest, but he is an odds-on favourite, so should win, while Fergal O'Brien's Recoup is another odds-on jolly in the 12:15 race and is another napped by three tipsters.

Horseracing.net says: "El Jefe ended a long losing run last time out when being well backed and landing victory at Sedgefield last month. Now, Ann Hamilton's charge will be eager to show it wasn't a flash in a pan and will return to the north east venue on Tuesday to try and land victory in the 14:20 race and has proven the most popular nap of the day. 5lbs higher he will face a tougher task, but he's going the right way again and looks tough to beat."

The Punt from the Racing Post has been in terrific tipping form of late and has napped back-to-back winners and the current naps table leader will attempt to land the hat-trick this afternoon and has put up Montregard as the best bet of the day in the 15:40 at Southwell. A half brother to Cheltenham Gold Cup contender Protektorat, Montregard could be a smart four-year-old and is one to watch, but he has a tough ask against Hill Of Tara today. Rory Paddock rocketed to second in the naps table yesterday and that tipster heads to Tramore's 15:00 for his best bet of the day and has napped Kings Halo, while third placed tipster Steve Mullington has napped Deep Strato in the 15:20 at Sedgefield and Donald McCain's newcomer could be one to watch this season.

  • The Punt - 15:40 Southwell - Montregard
