Joe Gibbs Racing Extends Contract With Primary Partner

Joe Gibbs Racing extends its contract with Rheem for the 2023 season. R hems is Christopher Bell's primary partner on the No. 20 Toyota Camry TRD. Rhem has been a partner of the team for nine of 30 races this season and has a long-standing relationship with the sport of NASCAR.

Bell has been the longest-tenured driver in JGR's history. He has worked with Rheem since the 2018 Xfinity Series season. Bell has won five of his seven wins from the XFinity season and six times with the company as his primary partner. His first career win took place at the Daytona Road Course in 2021. In 2022, Bell won at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. He is looking forward to finishing 2022 strong and kicking off 2023 with a Rhem car.

Bell is 25 points behind the cutline after two blown tires at Texas Motor Speedway. He is one of two JGR drivers remaining in the championship hunt. Bell is lower in initial odds for the playoff race at Talladega Superspeedway at 18-1. Tyler Reddick, Ross Chastain, and Austin Cindric are the next drivers on the list at 15- 1.
