Louisiana legalized retail sports betting in November 2021. October saw a monthly record of $255.5 million in gross revenue. Mobile operators generated the most revenue from parlay at $96 million since January 2022. Football wagers alone generated $26.4 million through the first full year of sports gambling in Louisiana. The state collected $11 million from mobile betting through first four months of fiscal year 2023. It collected the same amount from the last six months in fiscal 2022 as it did through last 6 months.
