Michigan’s Sports Betting Revenue Rises Again in October
FanDuel overtook DraftKings as the biggest sports betting company in October. The total legal sports bettors' handle in the state reached $504.3 million. This is a 32% increase from September's $383.1 million and a 9% year-over-year increase. October's total sports bets generated $51.4 million in revenue, but the hold percentage dropped.
FanDuel is the monthly handle leader with $145.4 million in October. DraftKings was the previous monthly leader, with a monthly total of $129.2 million. MGM Grand Detroit generated a total handle of only $9.6 million, while Greektown Casino generated $7.8 million monthly. MotorCity Casino reported a yearly total total $6.1 million (down from $10.3 million).
