Manaccan too good for Scarbrough rivals

Manaccan won the Cazoo Scarbrough Stakes at Doncaster. King Of Stars finished second, Mo Celita was a clear second and Attagirl third. Indian Dream won a nursery handicap for Michael Bell. John Ryan's horse is easy to deal with and he hopes to go to Newbury for the International Trophy. He is a pleasure to train. The ground is probably going to be against him after Newburys. It's unlikely he needs to do too much more this year. His owner Graham Smith-Bernal is patient. If it's not right for him, he doesn't go. Ryan says he's going be a better horse next year, if the ground isn't bad.
