NCAA Football Player Props This Weekend

Welcome to the College Classroom. Here we will discuss the NCAAF Must Bet Player Prop Bets for Week 5 of the College Football action.

We’re off to quite the hot start as far as NCAAF Player Prop betting goes, so let’s break it down.

NCAAF Player Prop Betting

Here’s the record on player props after four weeks of college football.

We’ve cooled off a little since the start, but we’re still going strong.

We split our 2U player props last weekend, and this weekend I’m sticking to just 1U for each of these.

Pull out your notebooks, let’s get to work!

NCAAF Week 5 Must Bet Player Props

Jonathon Brooks (Texas) over 88.5 Rushing Yards (-115) Bovada

Brooks is the Longhorns lead rusher and tore up the field last weekend.

He’s gone for 100 rushing yards in his last two games, and he had 164 against Wyoming at home. The Longhorns have looked very dominant, which I assume we will see on Saturday as well, meaning this guy could get plenty of extra touches.

Brooks has averaged 19.5 carries the past two games, and even with KU’s defense allowing less than 100 yards this season, the Jayhawks are also 4-0 and have looked dominant.

Teams have been forced to play catch up against the Jayhawks, leading to less overall rushing. If the Longhorns come out and handle business, which I think they do, I see Brooks running all over the Kansas defense.

Brian Thomas Jr. over 68.5 Receiving Yards (-115) Bovada

Now yesterday in our LSU/Ole Miss Preview, we actually got this at 67.5. It’s moved up a yard, but I think this guy could hit 100+ for the 2nd straight game and 3rd time this season.

Thomas Jr. has cleared this line in 3/4 games, posting at least 60+ yards in each. He’s got 25 catches on the year, and is averaging 17.1 yards per catch.

He and fellow wideout, Malik Nabers, both get plenty of love from Jayden Daniels, each recording 5 TDs this season. Thomas Jr. is more of a deep ball runner, and I think he could catch the Rebels secondary sleeping once or twice this game.

I think 70 yards is easily attainable for Thomas Jr., and spoiler alert, I like Nabers as well.

Jabari Small over 57.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

I expect the lead back for the Volunteers to eat on Saturday. They are 11.5 point favorites against an inferior South Carolina team, and they are looking for some sweet revenge at home.

After getting blown out by Rattler and company last year, Tennessee hosts the revenge game against the team that injured their starting QB last year, Hendon Hooker.

Joe Milton III has been incredibly good for Tennessee, but it’s Jabari Small’s time to shine this weekend.

He’s cleared in 3/4 games this season, including doing so on just 9 carries last weekend. With Tennessee expected to handle business, I like Small to pound it on the ground and get some extra touches.

He had 80 yards on 11 carries last year in South Carolina, and with the Gamecocks allowing 130+ rushing yards to opponents, I see Small running all over them.

He’s averaging 10.5 carries per game, and 6.1 yards per carry, so simply by those numbers, Small clears the line here.
