Odds To Win Formula 1 Constructors Championship 2023

While there are many Formula 1 odds and betting lines for every Grand Prix weekend, many futures and special betting lines focus on driver matchups and the Drivers World Championship. To many in the F1 world and media, when they check the F1 standings or speak about World Championships, individual drivers always take the focus.

However, Formula 1 awards two World Championships every season: one for the top points-scoring driver and team. As such, we’re shining a light on the current odds to win the 2023 Formula 1 Constructors World Championship.

Although there are ten teams in Formula 1, you don’t need to be a die-hard fan to know that six teams on the grid are not in contention for the Constructors Championship.

Here are the current Constructors’ Championship Formula 1 odds for the four teams still in contention:

If you have been making F1 picks since the 2021 season or throughout the current ground effect era, you’ve likely picked and won a lot with Red Bull Racing-based picks.

Red Bull has been almost untouchable since the introduction of the new technical rules in 2022. In 2023, the RB-19 has been untouchable, with Red Bull winning the first five Grand Prix of the season. They captured four pole positions, winning the Azerbaijan Sprint Race, and scoring four 1-2 finishes.

That’s nearly a perfect record for Red Bull and its RB-19 in 2023.

With Red Bull’s current form in this f1 schedule, they look unstoppable, and oddsmakers have taken notice. However, this sort of early season domination was always Red Bull’s plan to help combat the testing restrictions they received for winning the 2022 Constructors Championship and violating the 2021 cost cap.

By out-developing their competition, Red Bull is intentionally trying to stack wins and points to build a huge lead and mitigate the consequences of aerodynamic testing restrictions by stopping development on the RB-19 early to divert resources and development time to the 2024 car.

Red Bull currently has 224 points and a 122-point lead over Aston Martin. When Red Bull switches development to 2024, there is a chance the gap to Red Bull will close, or its gearbox reliability will become a pressing issue. This provides an opportunity for the points gap to close late in the season.

And as the points gap closes, Red Bull’s Formula 1 odds to win the 2023 Constructors Championship will increase in value for the bettor. Red Bull and its RB-19 will win the 2023 Formula 1 Constructors Championship. It will take an epic failure for Red Bull not to win.

With a new engine partnership with Honda starting in 2026 and new infrastructure for Team Silverstone, Aston Martin is on the rise, and its AMR-23 is a contender to catch Red Bull, having gained 0.1 seconds in pace since the start of the season.

When Red Bull eventually falters, Fernando Alonso and Aston Martin will be there to pick up the points. However, questions remain if they can get close enough to Red Bull on race pace if there will be enough points available, and if Lance Stroll can score enough points to overcome Red Bull’s lead.

Ferrari has been disappointing in 2023, and there is nothing about their development path or upgrades suggesting Ferrari is going to close the gap to Red Bull’s race pace, despite having a great one-lap monster in Charles Lecerc’s capable hands.

Mercedes introduces a long-awaited upgrade package with a new aerodynamic and mechanical platform in Monaco. However, while these upgrades will undoubtedly give the W-14 more pace, Mercedes isn’t expecting to instantly challenge Red Bull in 2023, making these philosophical changes for a strong 2024 campaign.

  • It’s Red Bull’s 2023 Constructors Championship to lose, and they’re not going to.
