Going to Vegas is the favorite in the 65th running of the G2 John C. Mabee Stakes at Del Mar on Saturday. Going Global is expected to go off the second favorite. Doug O'Neill has two 2-year-old fillies in TVG Del Mar Debutante. Vegas Magic and Satin Doll are undefeated after three starts. Bob Baffert has a couple of horses in the De debutante, Fast and Shiny and Home Cooking. The Debyante is run at seven furlongs. The distance is the farthest any of the filly have run so far in their young careers. It is all about the trip and how you break. There are some nice horses. it is wide open. the race is open, there are nice fillys in there. If you go too fast, you won't get there, if you don't break :22, the horse won’t get to the finish line.

$100,000 JUVENILIATE FILLY TURF KICKS OFF STAKES ACTION ON Saturday. A field of 11 2-year-old fillies is entered in the race. Phil D’Amato has a trio of filly ready to go, led by Comanche Country, who won her U.S. debut at Del Mar in July. D'Amatos has two Euros making their U-S.-debuts in Juvenile Fillies Turf, Thebestisyettobe and Excelia.
