As much as we want to believe Rodríguez is fine, we are suspicious: the lefty has just six K’s in his last eight innings while walking six. Is he tiring? Is he hurt? Not sure: but it’s enough concert to avoid the strikeout prop bet or any other prop bets attached to the lefthander.
A’s pitcher JP Sears isn’t a catalog, he’s a southpaw. He’s the only Oakland hurler who has been in the rotation all season. There are two things you need to know about Sears: he throws strikes and he gives up the longball. So far opposing batters have slugged the baseball out of the park 32 times against Sears. On Sunday, we like the chances for a Tigers batter to hit a blast, a bomb, or both.
