Tottenham vs Chelsea Odds, Predictions & Betting Tips

Tottenham host their London rivals Chelsea in the Premier League on Monday night as they aim to go back to the top of the table.

Tipster Wizard has previewed the match, supplying a Bet Builder and a score/card double as his two bets for the match, which you can read about in detail below.

Ange Postecoglou’s men are the only remaining unbeaten side in the Premier League, winning eight and drawing two of their 10 league games so far this season.

Mauricio Pochettino returns to Tottenham for the first time since November 2019 aiming to inflict their first defeat of the season.

His Chelsea side looked to be on a mini-revival after three wins and a draw in their last four games in all competitions before they were beaten by Brentford at home.

They have since beaten Blackburn 2-0 in the League Cup to progress through to the quarter-finals and will now be hoping to dent their rival’s title charge.

The Blues have had the better of Tottenham in recent seasons, winning three of their last four games on their visit to Tottenham’s home turf but on current form, Postecoglou’s men go into this game as deserved favourites.

However, form can go out of the window in high-intensity derbies like these and I expect a competitive Monday night clash in the Premier League.

I have included two of my best bets for this game below:

Team News:

Ryan Sessegnon, Alfie Whiteman, Ivan Perisic, and Manor Solomon are out for Tottenham, while Destiny Udogie and Ben Davies are doubtful.

Wesley Fofana, Nkunku, Romeo Lavia, Ben Chilwell, Armando Broja, Trevoh Chalobah, and Carney Chukwuemeka are out for Chelsea, while Cole Palmer and Mykhailo Mudryk are doubtful.

Tottenham vs Chelsea Tips

Yves Bissouma Over 0.5 fouls, Conor Gallagher Over 0.5 fouls, Over 0 goals for Tottenham

Bet Builder Selections

  • Yves Bissouma Over 0.5 fouls committed
  • Conor Gallagher - Over 0.5 fouls committed
  • Over 0 goals for Tottenham

Yves Bissouma is averaging 1.2 fouls per game for Tottenham in the Premier League and has committed at least one foul in seven of his nine league appearances so far this season.

Conor Gallagher is averaging 2.0 fouls per game for Chelsea this season and has committed at least one foul in nine of his 10 league appearances this season.

Considering the derby element, both these players will be expected to put in aggressive tackles and we should comfortably see the foul selections land.

Finally, Tottenham have scored in every single league game so far this season (10/10) and are the only unbeaten side in the league with eight wins and two draws.

With Son and Maddison at the top of their game, Tottenham have enough firepower to score at least one goal against an inconsistent Chelsea team.

Combining these three selections gives us a solid betbuilder at 9/10 and we will take that as our main bet with a 1pt stake.

Heung-Min Son to score anytime and Moises Caicedo to be booked

Heung-Min Son is on fire for Tottenham this season, top scoring with eight goals in his last seven league appearances.

Moises Caicedo is averaging 1.5 fouls per game in the league for Chelsea and has picked up two bookings in his last three league appearances.

He loves putting in a tackle and will be one of the favourites to go into the referee’s book.

Combining these two selections gives us a cracking longshot double at 6/1 and we will take that as our second bet for this London Derby with a small 0.25pt stake.
