Race 1. (11:25) Tab Ipswich Cup Tickets Maiden (1100m)

#7 – Hinata

Hinata is on debut for Tony Gollan and we’re expecting a positive first-up effort.

The two-year-old filly comes off a trial win at Doomben by two lengths, so she looks ready to fire on Wednesday.

We’re expecting a sizable betting push.

Race 2. (11:59) Welcome Barrier Reef Pools Maiden (1100m)

#9 – She’sgotaccess

The two-year-old filly has shown enough in two race day starts so far to warrant attention against this field.

She ran sixth on debut at Sunshine Coast before running third at Rockhampton, and although this is harder, there are no superstars in the field.

Dropping to 52kg could be enough to win.

Race 3. (12:33) Stroud Homes Ipswich Maiden (1350m)

#2 – Conquistadores

Conquistadores hit the line nicely enough at Doomben last start to include him in selections.

The two-year-old son of Heroic Valour hasn’t been too far away from the mark in three career starts, so it shouldn’t take him long to win.

With Ryan Wiggins in the saddle, there should be a betting push.

Race 4. (13:08) BNB Development Corp Maiden (1666m)

#2 – Darkened Destiny

Darkened Destiny comes off consecutive placings at Warwick and Ipswich, so we’re happy to stick with him.

The four-year-old son of Spill the Beans owns six placings from 15 starts, so punters have been waiting awhile, but he’s worth one more chance.

Punters should get value odds on race day.

Race 5. (13:43) Pennywise BM65 (1350m)

#2 – A Call from Heaven

A Call from Heaven is a three-time winner from 10 starts, so she knows how to win with good consistency.

The four-year-old mare by Divine Prophet is a two-time winner at Ipswich, and having experience on this track is ideal.

3kg comes off her back to help with the weight.

Race 6. (14:18) The Shed Company Maiden (1350m)

#5 – Nagamie

Nagamie has been runner-up in both career outings, so he looks ready to cross the line first.

The three-year-old son of Dundeel comes off a second placing at Ipswich as a $7.50 chance, but punters might have to take shorter odds.

Barrier 14 isn’t ideal, but Michael Cahill is a good jockey.

Race 7. (14:53) Vince Insurance C1 Handicap (1666m)

#6 – Must

The Waller-trained gelding is a must-include following some sound efforts this season.

The three-year-old gelding won at Ipswich two back before placing behind Standing Order. He will need to improve on that effort, but he’s good enough.

Punters should get each-way odds.

Race 8. (15:28) Rose Jensen Kent Lawyers BM70 (800m)

#2 – The Billionaire

The Billionaire isn’t the most consistent type going around, but he’s tough to beat on his day.

He won at Ipswich three back, which was his second win from five attempts on the track, so that bodes well.

He likes to push forward, so the 800m is ideal.

Race 9. (16:03) BOQ Winston Glades BM65 (1350m)

#4 – Boom Shot

Boom Shot won well on debut at Doomben before placing against similar opposition here.

The Gollan-trained gelding finished behind Cripps Tonite, but we believe he can turn the tables on that result.

Punters should expect a betting push.

Race 10. (16:38) Precinct Urban Planning C4 (1200m)

#5 – Dollop

Dollop was too quick for them at Ipswich last start, and the four-time winner from 11 starts could win again.

The four-year-old handles all track conditions, so that’s not a problem, and he only needs luck from a wide barrier.
