Yankees: Slump sends New York’s World Series odds in wrong direction

The New York Yankees are in a slump. They are 7-11 since the All-Star break and 1-6 in their last seven games. Their World Series odds have gone from +350 at the start of August to +450. They have good pitching and good offense in spurts, but they haven't been able to put them together at once. The delayed return of Luis Severino from the injured list is a concern, especially after New Yorkers traded Jordan Montgomery at deadline. However, as long as the Yankees have a healthy rotation going into the postseason, they'll be as competitive as anybody.
