2023 Genesis Scottish Open odds, picks: Proven model reveals projected leaderboard, surprising PGA golf predictions

The 2023 Genesis Scottish Open tees off Thursday, July 13, from The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland. Scottie Scheffler, the No. 1 ranked player in the world, is the 7-1 favorite according to the 2023 Genesis Scottish Open odds. He's followed by Rory McIlroy (17-2), Patrick Cantlay (14-1), Xander Schauffele (14-1) and Rickie Fowler (16-1) on the PGA odds board.

Our proprietary model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, has been RED-HOT since the PGA Tour resumed in June of 2020. In fact, the model is up over $10,000 on its best bets since the restart, nailing tournament after tournament.

McClure's model predicted Jon Rahm would finish on top of the leaderboard at the 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions and The American Express. And at the 2023 Masters, the model was all over Rahm's second career major victory heading into the weekend. Rahm was two strokes off the lead heading into the third round, but the model still projected him as the winner. It was the second straight Masters win for the model, which also nailed Scottie Scheffler winning in 2022.

In addition, the model included Nick Taylor in its best bets to win the 2023 RBC Canadian Open. That bet hit at +7000, and for the entire tournament, McClure's best bets returned nearly $1,900. McClure's best bets also included Jason Day (17-1) winning outright at the 2023 AT&T Byron Nelson and Rickie Fowler (14-1) finishing on top of the leaderboard at the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic.

This same model has also nailed a whopping nine majors entering the weekend! Anyone who has followed it has seen MASSIVE returns!

The Genesis Scottish Open will be co-sanctioned with the DP World Tour for the second consecutive year. Approximately 75 DP World Tour professionals will play alongside an equal PGA TOUR contingent. The Renaissance Club opened in 2007, but the par-70 course has already hosted the Scottish Open four times prior to this week's event.

One major surprise the model is calling for at the 2023 Genesis Scottish Open: Xander Schauffele, the defending champion and one of the top favorites, stumbles this week and fails to crack the top five! Another surprise: Tyrrell Hatton, a 20-1 longshot, makes a strong run at the title. He's a target for anyone looking for a HUGE payday.

Also, the model is targeting THREE other golfers with odds of 20-1 or longerwho will make surprising runs! Anyone who backs these golfers could hit it BIG. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who they are before locking in any 2023 Genesis Scottish Open picks!
