Aaron Pico vs. Pedro Carvalho Betting Preview

This Pico vs Carvalho betting analysis doesn’t do too much to help you make any Bellator picks this weekend. This is because we haven’t even looked at the available betting lines or watched any of the tape that either man has out there.

According to the Bellator betting odds, Pico is coming in as a ridiculous -1000 betting favorite over Carvalho on Saturday night. The over/under is set at 1.5 rounds. With the fight being heavily favored to end inside the distance at -285 odds.

Since this fight is very one-sided in the books, we are going to have to put a little more effort and have a little imagination while making this pick. After watching the tape on both men, this fight is surely favoring Pico. The only issue with this matchup is there should never be a -1000 betting favorite in the sport of MMA. Especially if the athletes are both ranked at the top of an organization.

Unstoppable Cardio

Pico has a pretty classic wrestler style where he moves like he is still on the mats and fights with a lot of output and ridiculous cardio. He has a big overhand right that he looks to land on the feet. And uses it to keep his opponents on their heels and open up the takedown.

Carvalho has a style that you see in a lot of fighters who are just very tough and have lots of natural talent. The athleticism advantage strongly goes to Pico in this matchup. But Carvalho is going to always be game to fight hard.

Aaron Pico vs. Pedro Carvalho Betting Prediction

The bottom line of this featherweight matchup is that one guy has way more paths to victory than the other. The Pico vs Carvalho betting analysis and betting preview above can only tell you so much about the story of this fight before you force yourself to overthink.

When making your Bellator best bets, don’t overthink this one; Pico is going to get his hand raised and probably in a dominant fashion.

  • Since the moneyline is impossible to make any smart bets on, take Pico to win via submission at +225. Or at least inside the distance at -250.

The exact prediction on this one is that Pico is going to hurt Carvalho on the feet, get the fight to the ground. And Carvalho is going to roll over and give his back to stop the ground and pound raining down on him from Pico.
