Stats point to goals galore

These sides have produced some entertaining matches in recent years, Spurs winning the previous four meetings 4-2, 3-2, 3-1 and 6-2, the last of those back in September.

Leicester’s last two Premier League fixtures, against Brighton and Aston Villa, have brought them a 2-2 draw and a 4-2 win respectively.

The visiting side will also be without the injured Hugo Lloris and the suspended Cristian Romero, which leaves them vulnerable defensively. And only the bottom two – Bournemouth (43) and Southampton (38) – have conceded more goals in the Premier League than the Foxes’ 37.

So our bet focuses on the goals market, where we think there’s excellent value to be had, and we’re backing over 3.5 goals to come in on Saturday.

Leicester City vs Tottenham tip 1: Over 3.5 match goals  @ 7/4 with Betfred

Maddison worth targeting

Leicester midfielder James Maddison, who has previously been linked with a move to Spurs, has a habit of scoring against his possible suitors.

The 26-year-old has netted three goals in his previous five appearances against Spurs, including two in his last two.

Leicester’s recent downturn coincided with the England international’s injury but he marked his first Premier League start since the World Cup with a goal in the win over Villa.

With Spurs missing their first-choice goalkeeper and centre-back, we are backing Maddison to take advantage and score against Spurs again this weekend.

Leicester City vs Tottenham tip 2: James Maddison to score at any time @ 11/5 with Betfred

Davies to struggle against Tete

Leicester’s January signing Tete scored on his debut against Villa and has proved to be an instant favourite among the Foxes faithful.

On Saturday, the right-winger is likely to be up against Ben Davies, who will be shifted to the left of Tottenham’s back three to cover the absent Romero and could struggle against the pacy Brazilian.

Davies has already been shown three yellow cards in 19 starts this season and at these odds, it is worth backing him to add another to his collection.

Leicester City vs Tottenham tip 3: Both teams to score and Ben Davies to be carded @ 7/1 with Betfred #PickYourPunt
