This Saturday we have a late kickoff with Sheffield United vs Manchester United in the 8pm slot. It’s the final game on a busy day of Premier League action and one which both teams will be desperate to win. Sheffield United sit rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table and still looking for their first win, while Manchester United are struggling to live up to the expecations of fans with Erik ten Hag starting to come under some pressure.

Can the Blades get an upset against an under-pressure Man Utd team on Saturday?
Don’t miss our 7/1 Bet Builder on Sheffield United vs Manchester United.

Man Utd to win

It’s been a tough season for Manchester United so far with the team entering this weekend 10th in the Premier League table. They’ve only won half of their eight league games, losing the other half. That’s not good enough for a club of this size but they’ll be expecting to get back to winning ways here and they should.

Sheffield United have been terrible so far this season, picking up just one point through eight games. They’ve scored just six goals and conceded 22, a Premier League high. Man Utd are 2/5 on to win this game and even at those odds we have to start out bet with that. Even in a supposed crisis they are simply levels above the Blades and will get the three points here.

Rasmus Hojlund to score

We’re yet to see a Premier League goal for Rasmus Hojlund since his big move move from Atalanta but it’s coming. He’s played pretty well when he has featured for Man Utd and Erik ten Hag will be looking for the Danish striker to push on now that he’ll be more settled in the team.

Although he hasn’t scored in the Premier League yet it is worth noting that he’s scored three goals in his past four games for both club and country. He won’t get many better chances to get off the mark in the Premier League than again Sheffield United.

Bruno Fernandes to score or assist

It’s going under the radar slightly because Manchester United have had a poor start to the season but Bruno Fernandes has been really good at points. For both Portugal and Erik ten Hag’s team he seems to be in clinical form, providing both goals and assists.

Over his past 12 games for both club and country he’s scored five goals and assisted seven more. Averaging either a goal or an assist every single game. Against a team like Sheffield Untied who have been giving up a lot of goals it makes sense to target the Portuguese midfielder to continue that streak.

Anel Ahmedhodzic to commit 1 or more fouls

There are only two players who have started every single Premier League game for the Blades so far this season, one is goalkeeper Wes Foderingham and the other is Bosnian defender Anel Ahmedhodzic.

He’s an ever present and a key part of their defence. Most importantly for us he’s been averaging 1.4 fouls per game, which makes it an easy decision to back him to commit at least one foul here. As poor as Manchester United have been they have had 16.3 shots per game in the Premier League, which shows that Ahmedhodzic will be busy at the back for the Blades and we should be able to rely on him giving up a foul.

Bruno Fernandes to commit 1 or more fouls

One thing we know about Bruno Fernandes, besides his impressive goal contribution record this season, is that he loves the dark arts. So far this season he’s picked up three yellows in the Premier League in just eight games, but instead of backing him to pick up another card we’re instead going to bet on him commit one or more fouls.

He’s a tough tackler and so far this season he’s had 2.1 tackles per game, third highest in the team and crucially for us he’s averaged one foul per game. We can expect to see him commit another foul here and keep up his average, especially with the club needing a captain’s performance from Fernandes as they bid to get their season back on track.
