The defeat came a week after falling 20-6 to the Detroit Lions. Ridder is averaging 6.2 yards per pass, having gone 74-of-119 while throwing three touchdowns and three interceptions. He has been sacked 11 times in the past two weeks, throwing two interceptions and losing two fumbles.

The Falcons’ defensive unit is also struggling against the pass, giving up six passing touchdowns and allowing an average of 5.6 yards per completion. However, they have shown resilience on third downs, allowing just 17 conversions on 51 attempts and holding opponents to 1-for-5 on fourth-down conversion attempts.

The Texans struggled right out of the gate this season, taking two losses (25-9 vs. Baltimore and 31-20 vs. Indianapolis) before righting the ship and picking up two wins, scoring 37 points in Week 3 and 30 in Week 4. They are averaging 24 points per game despite the early-season losses and are playing some quality football.

The Falcons have held just one team — the Carolina Panthers in a 24-10 win — to under 20 points this season. The Packers scored 24 in Week 2, the Lions 20 in Week 3, and the Jaguars 23 in Week 4.

Expect the Texans to continue to roll in the right direction and surpass 20.5 points.

Stroud is averaging 303 yards per game with 62.3 percent completions. He’s thrown six touchdowns and zero picks and, despite the two losses, is playing with a lot of confidence.

Even in the losses, Stroud played well. Against Baltimore, he threw for 242 yards, and against Indy, he threw for 384 yards.
