ANDREW’S FREE PICK

I’ll stick with the Red Sox. Bello has been decent on the mound lately. He’s got nine earned runs over his last three starts in 17.0 total innings, going 2-1 in that time. As for Gray, he’s given up six earned over his last two starts in 6.1 innings total, going 0-1 during that pair. I don’t think Gray will pitch too badly here but I like Bello to get the edge stat-wise. On Tuesday Boston couldn’t do much on the scoreboard outside of the third inning, and a couple of the bullpen performances were pretty rough. The Sox used five arms out of the pen, so a quality start from Bello would really help Boston’s chances at a win during the finale.
