These are last week's fastest stakes winners

Tapit Trice made a strong case for himself as a Kentucky Derby 2023 contender in winning the Grade 1 Blue Grass on Saturday. He also got the highest Brisnet Speed Rating of the weekend.

For his win by a neck over Verifying, the Todd Pletcher trainee earned a 102 Brisnet. He also earned a 99 Beyer Speed Figure, according to Daily Racing Form, and a 115 TimeformUS Speed Figure. With Luis Saez riding, he covered the 1 1/8 miles at Keeneland in 1:50.00.

In the weekend's other Kentucky Derby qualifiers, Practical Move earned 100 from Brisnet and Beyer and 115 from TimeformUS for his win in the Santa Anita Derby (G1).

Lord Miles, the surprise winner of the Wood Memorial (G2), got a 99 Brisnet, 93 Beyer and 109 TimeformUS figure.
