Golf’s biggest major couldn’t be arriving at a better time for fans across the globe. Following a dramatic finish to the World Match Play in Texas, the tournament favourites are in hot form.

As everyone expected, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy were paired together on Sunday – but for a third place consolation match, as Sam Burns defeated Cameron Young 6&5 in the final.

The Masters is a 72-hole stroke-play event which takes place over four days. Jack Nicklaus (six) has won the most Green Jackets, followed by Tiger Woods (five) and Arnold Palmer (three).

The Masters is widely regarded as the best four days of golf on the calendar each and every year. Sunday night is compulsive viewing for UK golf fans as the leaders try to navigate their way around Amen Corner and down the final stretch.
