Two of the top teams in the Eastern Conference face off Friday, and we're offering our top Cavaliers vs. 76ers player props based on the best NBA odds.
The Cleveland Cavaliers and Philadelphia 76ers both enter this late-week showdown on the second game of a back-to-back, so there could be some tired legs for these teams on Friday.
The Cavaliers are fresh off a disappointing game against the Orlando Magic, which came on the first night back from the NBA All-Star break. With star guard Donovan Mitchell sidelined with an illness, Cleveland dropped that home contest and look to rebound on Friday night.
Meanwhile, the 76ers continue to falter without reigning NBA MVP Joel Embiid. Even with rising star Tyrese Maxey - the favorite by our NBA Most Improved Player odds - doing his best to carry the load, Philly lost again on Thursday to drop its seventh game in its last 10.
Sixers starters Tobias Harris, Paul Reed, and Nicolas Batum combined for just nine points in Thursday's home loss to the New York Knicks. Will the role players step up and offer Maxey some support, or will Cleveland do what much of the league has done recently and take advantage of an Embiid-less 76ers squad?

Tobias Harris Under 18.5 points (-114 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐
It's less than ideal that our best sports betting sites have only four players listed on Friday morning, with Mitchell serving as the only Cavaliers player with props available. Harris is one of three 76ers available, along with Maxey and Reed. However, we're seeing some early value on the Under for Harris' points prop.
Most of our other best sports betting apps have the Under juiced to around -130, while Pinnacle - which features one of the most respected trading teams in the sports betting industry - has Under 18.5 points priced at -140.
As has been the case since Embiid went down long-term, Maxey is expected to carry the scoring load for Philadelphia, leaving Harris as a secondary option. However, Harris has mostly failed to provide even that level of scoring, going Under this points total in four of his last five games. That includes his absolutely dismal seven-point effort on Thursday night.
NumberFire is projecting Harris to finish with 17.6 points on Friday. When we run that number against Caesars' -114 odds on Under 18.5 points, we're getting a little better than 8% positive expected value on this bet.

Tyrese Maxey Under 6.5 assists (-135 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐
What happens when Harris or really any of the other 76ers players can't put the ball in the net? That's right, Maxey's assists plummet, and that's expected to be the case once again Friday after being true the prior game.
Maxey managed only five assists against the Knicks despite contributing 10 potential assists. The rest of the 76ers just stink right now, and NumberFire's projections suggest that won't change Friday relative to the line set at our best sportsbooks.
Maxey is projected to finish with just six assists against the Cavaliers. When we run that number against DraftKings' -135 odds on Under 6.5, we're getting better than 7.5% +EV on this bet.

Donovan Mitchell Under 38.5 points + rebounds + assists (-105 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐
As previously mentioned, Mitchell missed Thursday's game with an illness, and it's possible he continues to feel the effects of that a day later. At the very least, NumberFire's projections and sharp bettors seem to expect that to be the case.
Mitchell is projected to record 37.8 PRA on Friday, and FanDuel and BetMGM already have the Under juiced to around -120.
DraftKings isn't exactly on an island with this price, but it's clearly the best of any of our best live betting sites.
When we run NumberFire's projection against these odds at DraftKings, we're getting better than 7.5% +EV on this bet. Pinnacle already has the Under priced at -128. This surely won't last long.
