NBA player props: Best bets for Friday, December 8 featuring KAT, Embiid, Curry

We have a full slate of NBA action to look forward to tonight with 13 games tipping off across the league. With so many games taking place this evening, that presents plenty of opportunities to hit on player props courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook. We’ll go over some of our favorites below.

Karl-Anthony Towns over 2.5 3-pointers vs. Grizzlies (+154)

Minnesota will visit Memphis this evening and that presents an opportunity for Towns to get busy from beyond the arc. The Grizzlies are allowing the most threes per game with an opponent average of 14.5 and that plays into the favor of KAT, who is averaging 2.2 threes per game. I think he can bury at last three tonight given the matchup, so I’ll take the over.

Joel Embiid under 32.5 points vs. Hawks (+100)

Embiid is leading the league in scoring with 33.1 points per game and just dropped 50 against the Wizards on Wednesday. He played 38 minutes in that contest and there is a noticeable pattern where anytime he plays close to 40 minutes in one game, it will drop closer to 30 the following game. The reigning MVP should have another solid outing, but I’ll take the under on his point total against the Hawks tonight.

Steph Curry under 28.5 points vs. Thunder (+105)

Golden State has been inconsistent and have had to be carried by Curry for the past few weeks. The former MVP was held to just 25 points then they last faced the Thunder a few weeks back and I think the young team can once again limit his production tonight. I’ll take the under on the Chef’s point total.

Luka Doncic over 9.5 rebounds vs. Trail Blazers (+110)

Dallas will visit Portland this evening and there’s a good chance Doncic could notch his third straight triple-double. He is averaging 8.5 rebounds per game and is going up against a Trail Blazers team that is yielding 45.9 boards per night, the fourth-most in the entire league. I think 10 boards for Doncic is light work.

Ivica Zubac over 1.5 blocks vs. Jazz (+114)

The Clippers will visit the Jazz this evening and there’s a chance that it could turn into a block party in Salt Lake City. Utah is yielding 6.5 blocks per game, which is the third most in the league. That presents an opportunity for a big man like Zubac to eclipse his season average of 1.5 tonight.
