A tradition like no other is upon us. Golf’s greatest, past and present, descend upon Augusta, Georgia to play the premiere event on the PGA Tour schedule. Scottie Scheffler looks to defend with his green jacket in tow while the LIV Tour comes back to to play with some old friends. Who will conquer one of golf’s greatest tests of the year? Let’s get into this week’s betting card.

Xander Schauffele +2500 (FanDuel)
At my own detriment, I am going to continue to attempt to take advantage of better odds because of the top three. Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, and Jon Rahm dominate so much of the equity that several other golfers need to be longer to balance everything out. Enter Xander Schauffele. As discussed in our Masters Betting Preview, Xander has a nice resume at Augusta National.
In any other year, we are likely staring down the barrel of shorter odds for Xander. While a rainy week won’t necessarily help the balanced golfer, Xander has put together plenty of great rounds at Augusta and feels like a bargain at 25/1. My gut tells me that he won’t be too popular as a OAD pick and could be used if you are looking to play catch up. I will get my exposure to the tip-top of the board through OAD or DFS. We will bet one unit on FanDuel Sportsbook.
Tony Finau +2500 (BetMGM)
Tony Finau also boasts a great resume at Augusta National. He has never missed a cut and has three top tens. The days of top-ten Tony are long gone as Finau has shown over the past couple of seasons that he is more than capable of closing out tournaments with golf’s best.
If the course plays longer we love Tony’s explosiveness off-the-tee paired with his top five form on approach. Bentgrass is his best putting surface. Finau has been knocking at the door at majors for years. This could just be his spot.

Max Homa +3200 (FanDuel)
Max Homa is likely the golfer in best form in this article but has seen a bit of a dip in his price over the week. 32/1 on FanDuel seems like too great a bargain to pass on.
Homa has absolutely lit it up this season and last and has beaten the best fields in golf during that time frame. He has not had much success at Augusta National but is also a far different golfer now than he was then. If you would have told me a month ago that I could find Max at 32/1 for the Masters I would have signed up immediately.
Today, we sign on the dotted line for 0.75 units.
Min Woo Lee +6500 (DraftKings)
Finally, I don’t want to spend too much money down the board at this tournament. However, in his debut experience last season, Min Woo Lee finished 14th and has some of the tools we seek for this event.
Lee is very explosive off of the tee and sits 4th in driving distance. This length likely helps Lee with eagle opportunities as he ranks 9th in this week’s field over his last 36 rounds. We have seen him contend in stacked fields before — most recently placing 6th in the players. I don’t mind taking a shot on him at a long shot.
We will close our preliminary card with Lee for 0.4 units at DraftKings Sportsbook.
This is a very exciting week. Keep your eyes out for promos on sports betting sites while being prudent with your bankroll. There is plenty of golf left to be played this season.
