Jalen Milroe’s continued growth throughout the season is arguably the most crucial factor in the Crimson Tide’s run to the SEC Championship. Milroe has progressed tremendously in nearly every aspect of his game, and will once again be leaned on against Georgia.

The Bulldogs defense ranks highly in every metric, but mobile quarterbacks have found success against UGA.

Auburn took Georgia down to the wire early in the year thanks to 125 rushing yards and a touchdown from Payton Thorne and Robby Ashford. Georgia Tech lost to the Dawgs by one possession last week and Haynes King ran for two scores.

Milroe may find difficulty hitting the explosive plays he’s made look routine but openings will undoubtedly be there if he scrambles.

College football has unbelievable quarterbacking talent across the country, and Carson Beck has been as consistent as anyone. The Jacksonville native has yet to complete less than 65% of his passes and throw more than one interception in a game this year.

Beck has only been sacked eight times and Alabama’s pass rushers are capable of creating chaos, but Tennessee has been equally efficient at getting after the QB and UGA held the Volunteers to zero sacks.

Beck may get two of his best weapons back against the Tide on Saturday. Brock Bowers and Ladd McConkey have only played four games together due to prolonged injuries, and Bowers’ return seems optimistic while McConkey is up in the air.

If both can suit up, Carson will be in an excellent position to hit his passing prop.

An ankle injury that required surgery forced Bowers to sit for three games this season, including the regular-season finale vs. Georgia Tech.

In the three games leading up to the injury, the reigning John Mackey Award winner averaged 136 yards. Since surgery, he’s averaging 47 yards per game.

Bowers’ usage has gone down but he remains a valuable asset in the redzone, scoring in both games since returning. He’s questionable to take the field against the Tide, though it seems unlikely he’d sit given the stakes of the game.
