Lane Kiffin is preparing for one of the biggest games of his coaching career as Ole Miss aims to end Georgia’s perfect season on Saturday night in Athens.

Sanford Stadium will be on fire in Week 11 when Ole Miss comes to town, providing a massive upper hand to the Bulldogs. If that wasn’t enough, the Rebels are tasked with taking down a Georgia team on a 26-game winning streak.

No Brock Bowers, no problem. Georgia’s offense hasn’t missed a step without the star TE, scoring 77 points in its previous two games. Carson Beck and Co. should have no issue lighting up the scoreboard vs. an Ole Miss defense allowing 23 points per game.

Jaxson Dart will be a key player in this matchup, coming off a 387-yard, two-touchdown performance in a win over Texas A&M. Dart hasn’t been great on the road this season, throwing three touchdowns and three interceptions in three games but must overcome that trend to lead Ole Miss to victory.

Auburn nearly upset Georgia earlier this year, losing a 27-20 nail-biter at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Georgia’s defense had its hands full vs. dual-threat QBs Payton Thorne and Robby Ashford, who combined for 125 rushing yards.

With 334 rushing yards and seven touchdowns, Dart is one of the best mobile QBs in the SEC. The Dawgs’ imposing defense leads the conference in points allowed per game, but Missouri proved they’re not invincible in Week 10, gaining 363 yards of offense.

Ole Miss must improve on third down to cover the spread, an area Kiffin’s team has struggled in.

Carson Beck is having the best season of the notable first-year starting QBs. The Jacksonville native has the second-most passing yards in the SEC and has yet to throw for less than 200 yards in a game.

The Rebels’ defense is average against the pass, allowing 228 yards per game. Ole Miss was particularly weak against LSU and Texas A&M, surrendering 414 yards to Jayden Daniels and 305 yards to Max Johnson.

Georgia has excelled at extending drives, moving the chains on 56% of third downs, the highest rate in the nation. On the flip side, Ole Miss’ defense has had trouble getting off the field on third down.
