Race 1. (12:05) Quayclean Handicap (1200m)

#10 – Wolfy @ $4

Wolfy is on debut for Nick Ryan and he often gets them running well fresh up.

The two-year-old colt by Tivaci looked good when winning a jumpout at Werribee, which shapes up well for this race.

The money has come and he should be right in the mix.

Race 2. (12:40) MRC First Renewal Edward Bode (2400m)

#2 – King’s Crossing @ $2.80

King’s Crossing has been threatening to win another race and he meets a field that’s there for the taking.

The three-year-old son of Almanzor comes off a second placing at Flemington behind First Immortal, which is an excellent form guide.

We’re happy to stick with him for another run.

Race 3. (13:15) Tobin Brothers Gold Stayers (2400m)

#1 – Rolls @ $2.25

Consistency is with Rolls, who has been right around the mark with three consecutive placings.

The six-year-old has yet to win from three attempts at Caulfield, but he’s the best-performed runner in the field.

He has been confidently backed with bookmakers.

Race 4. (13:50) Lamaro’s Vobis Gold Ingot (1400m)

#8 – Mollynickers @ $2.40

Mollynickers was too smart for them at Moe in heavy conditions last start and she could rise through the grades.

The two-year-old filly gave punters a good sight at $1.85, and they get better odds this time around.

It’s not an easy field but getting the inside draw with 55kg on her back doesn’t hurt her chances.

Race 5. (14:25) Royal Meeting All Class BM70 (1400m)

#10 – Movader @ $5.50

Movader is never too far away from the prize and she comes off an impressive win at Sandown.

The three-year-old daughter of Invader owns two wins and seven placings from nine starts, which is a fantastic record.

Dropping in weight is another positive.

Race 6. (15:05) Senet Gambling Law Experts Handicap (1100m)

#1 – Kin @ $2.05

There has been a lot of money for Kin, who scored by 2.3 lengths at Caulfield last time out.

The three-year-old daughter of Impending hit the line strongly to win, which suggests she has more wins in store this season.

2kg comes off her back and she is worth including in selections.

Race 7. (15:45) Stow Storage Solutions Handicap (1200m)

#2 – Validated @ $6.50

Validated owns four wins from seven starts, and although his form has come against easier opposition, he can’t be overlooked.

The three-year-old son of Valentia comes off a win at Murray Bridge as a $12 chance, so he’s not stranger to upset performances.

We’re happy to stick with him at the odds.

Race 8. (16:20) Big Screen Company Bletchingly Stakes (1200m)

#2 – General Beau @ $4

General Beau hasn’t won for a while, but the four-year-old has the class needed to beat this field.

The big son of Brazen Beau comes off a third placing at Caulfield behind Sigh, which has been an excellent form guide.

Getting the inside draw is worrying, but he has class.

Race 9. (16:52) Catanach’s Jewellers BM78 (1400m)

#1 – St Lawrence @ $2.90

The former Kiwi has loved life in Australia after posting his fifth win from six starts last time out.

The four-year-old son of Redwood won by a nose at Caulfield last time out, which should give him plenty of confidence.

1.5kg comes off his back to help with the weight.
