Reds to get the job done

Liverpool head into this FA Cup tie with Southampton full of confidence after winning their first piece of silverware this season in the form of the Carabao Cup.

The Reds were taken to extra time by Chelsea but Virgil van Dijk’s winning goal meant it was another trophy for Jurgen Klopp and his impressive Reds team.

Gakpo the danger man

Gakpo is likely to be the senior member of the squad who is asked to lead the line and the Liverpool forward will be hoping to add to his goal tally for the season.

The Dutch forward scored four goals in the club’s Carabao Cup run and will fancy his chances against a Southampton side who have failed to keep a clean sheet in four of their last five matches.
