Ian Happ has struggled overall this season, but he has still been very good against right-handed pitching – posting a .273 batting average and an .800 OPS in these situations. Tonight, Happ has a favorable matchup against Luis Ortiz, who enters play with a 9.08 FIP, .388 opponent batting average, and a 2.81 WHIP against left-handed hitters. Happ could be in for a big night at the dish if the rain stays away at Wrigley Field.
Jack Suwinski 2+ Total Bases (+130)
Jack Suwinski is positioned well to have an extremely productive Tuesday at the plate. This evening, Suwinski will face Jameson Taillon, who enters play with a 7.32 FIP, .303 opponent batting average, and a 2.06 WHIP against left-handed batters this season. Suwinski recently endured a prolonged slump, but he has gone 5-for-13 at the plate across his last three games, suggesting that he is starting to see the ball better. Take the over here.

Wrigley Field is one of the oldest ballparks in the MLB, and its construction allows wind to play a major role in home games for the Chicago Cubs on a daily basis. In January 2007, Chris Constancio documented in The Hardball Times that “more than 23% of fly balls result in home runs when the wind is blowing strongly toward the ivy-covered outfield walls, but only 13% of fly balls result in home runs when the wind is blowing in from the outfield.” On Tuesday, winds are forecasted to be blowing out over 8 mph to right field at Wrigley. Both Luis Ortiz and Jameson Taillon have struggled to keep the ball in the park so far this season. Assuming the rain does not play a major factor here, bettors could see a lot of runs early in this ballgame – take the alt-over in this spot.
