Since June 1, the San Francisco Giants rank 11th in OPS and wRC+ against left-handed pitching. Though these numbers are far from elite, league-average production in these metrics makes them superior to the New York Mets offense against right-handed pitching during that time frame. Across the last month of action, the Mets rank 21st in OPS and 18th in wRC+ against right-handed hurlers. In that same stretch, the Giants lead all of baseball with a 2.88 FIP from their relief corps while the Mets rank 27th. Simply, San Francisco is the better team in this matchup – trust them to get the job done here.

Over 7.5 (-194)

There is a threat of rain in the area that could impact the latter innings of Sunday Night Baseball, but the overall weather conditions are relatively hitter-friendly, with the temperature forecast to be near 80 degrees with a 10 mph wind blowing out towards left field. Neither Ross Stripling nor David Peterson profile as exceptional options on the bump to begin this game. Expect these offenses to do enough to score approximately one run per inning.

David Peterson o5.5 Strikeouts (+106)

David Peterson has an extremely favorable matchup on tap for his start tonight, at least in terms of strikeouts. Since June 1, the San Francisco Giants rank 30th in strikeout percentage against southpaws, punching out in 29.2% of their plate appearances. Since June 15, the Giants have been even worse, striking out in a league-worst 35.0% of their plate appearances against left-handed pitching. The over is a worthy inclusion in this parlay.
