Cleveland Guardians Moneyline (+140)

We do not have a lineup for the Cleveland Guardians tonight as of this writing, but we do have one for the Houston Astros, and Yordan Alvarez is noticeably absent. Gavin Williams has some of the most stark platoon splits of any pitcher in baseball in 2023, and a lineup featuring eight right-handed batters is something that is extremely advantageous for him on paper. Cleveland is priced as a significant underdog here, but there is a decent argument that they should be favored in this matchup.

Kyle Tucker 2+ Total Bases (+125)

Gavin Williams has struggled mightily against left-handed hitters this year, posting a 6.27 FIP, 1.74 WHIP, and shockingly-bad home run ratios across the platoon. Tonight, he will have to contend with Kyle Tucker, who has a strong .276 batting average, .830 OPS, and a 126 wRC+ against right-handed pitching this year. At plus-money, this is an exceptional value to include in today’s longshot parlay.

Framber Valdez 4+ Strikeouts (-370)

According to props.cash, Framber Valdez has recorded at least four strikeouts in 18 of his 20 turns through the rotation in 2023, with only one outing of fewer than three punchouts. Even in a tough matchup against the high-contact Cleveland Guardians, this is an attainable number for Valdez to reach.
