ANDREW’S FREE PICK

I’ll probably try the Mets here. Megill is on a decent run lately, despite a sketchy 4.2 innings and three earned in a loss to Atlanta back on August 22. Even with that defeat included, Megill is 1-1 with six earned runs in 15.2 innings over his last three starts. He should be able to at least flirt with a quality start in this finale. On Saturday the Mets did a pretty nice job on offense, but the bad news is that they used six pitchers in a rough loss. New York has given up just one run in two of their last four games, so another defensive performance like that would go a long way in the finale.
