In the Wednesday finale Seattle eked out a one-run victory. Teoscar Hernandez posted a three-RBI homer, and JP Crawford added a pair of RBI as well. 

In the starter slot for the Friday matchup the Mariners didn’t immediately announce a name.

On Wednesday New York rallied in the eighth inning to force extras, eventually powering out a 6-5 win. DJ Stewart posted two homers and four RBI along the way.

I’ll probably stick with the Mets in this one. New York should get a solid outing from Senga, who is 2-1 in his last three games. During that trio Senga has 19.2 innings with six earned runs on 10 hits and seven walks. The Mets blew an early 3-0 lead in their Wednesday game versus the Rangers, but things worked out in the end thanks to some timely hitting. That makes three or more runs in four of the last five games for New York, and if they can keep it up they should be in good shape here.
