The game starts at 2:30 p.m. CT and can be seen on ABC.

This is the ninth game of the season for both schools. The Sooners are coming off their second consecutive underwhelming performance and their first loss of the season. The Cowboys are coming off a dominant win over the Cincinnati Bearcats and could be the hottest team in the conference.

The big reason for the Cowboys resurgence has been the play of the offense. Ollie Gordon leads the nation in rushing yards with 1,087. He’s also added 10 touchdowns. 978 of those rushing yards have come in the last five games. Gordon has rushed for more than 270 yards in each of his last two games.

Advice and prediction

This is a game I would just completely stay away from. The Sooners are reeling. Their play has dropped off since the win over Texas and they’re dealing with injuries to key players. However, if you want to put some action on the game, I would take Oklahoma State plus the points.

I think this is going to be a hard-fought, very close game. It’ll depend on which Sooner team shows up. The one before the bye wins this game rather easily. The team we’ve seen the last two weeks will be in a dog fight they could eventually lose. It’ll come down to whether OU can contain Gordon better or if OSU can contain Gabriel and that passing attack better.

The Sooners were 5-8 against the spread in 2022 but are 6-2 in the 2023 season.

Prediction: Sooners win 31-30, but Oklahoma State covers, and the over just misses.
