Spurs vs. Thunder NBA Player Props, Odds

Rookie of the Year favorites Chet Holmgren and Victor Wembanyama square off in Oklahoma when the San Antonio Spurs visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday, and we have you covered with our Spurs vs. Thunder NBA player props are based on the best NBA odds.

“And the thunder rolls, and the lightning strikes!” It’s hard not to think of Garth Brooks’ mega-hit when looking ahead to tonight’s matchup between the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Spurs are just 3-7, but they’ve been competitive every step of the way this season thanks to electric rookie phenom Victor Wembanyama. Oklahoma City’s Chet Holmgren is still considered a rookie after missing all last season with a Lisfranc injury. The big men have many similarities, as each stands 7’1 or taller, has a long and slender frame, and can dribble, shoot, and pass like a guard but rebound and block shots like a true center.

The pair clashed in the preseason, with Holmgren’s Thunder getting the better of Wemby’s Spurs, 122-121, as both players shined. Which Rookie of the Year candidate will lead his team to victory tonight? More importantly, where can we find the greatest value on their player props?

To accompany our Clippers vs. Nuggets player props, here are our best Spurs vs. Thunder NBA player props and NBA picks (odds via our best NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Spurs vs. Thunder NBA player props

Victor Wembanyama Over 23.5 points + assists (-102 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

Wemby dished out a career-high seven dimes Sunday and had four assists in the game prior. His assists prop is set at just 2.5, but the best odds we can get on it are -138 at FanDuel. As always, we can do much better.

Over his last six games, Wemby has finished with at least 24 points + assists four times and is averaging 22.2 points + assists on the season. It’s no coincidence that his best game as a facilitator came Sunday with Tre Jones out of action. Jones is questionable again tonight, as are Keldon Johnson and Jeremy Sochan. That’s a lot of scoring and playmaking that may be sidelined, and Wemby should be in line to pick up the slack. The Thunder allow 121.3 points per game at home, which ranks second-most in the Association.

This points + assists prop has odds of -120 on bet365 and -125 on DraftKings. Make sure to get the most profitable line by using FanDuel.

Chet Holmgren double-double (+230 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

On the season, Holmgren’s averaging 16.4 points and 7.6 rebounds. His rebounds prop is set at a meager 7.5, and tonight, we’d be willing to climb the ladder up to 9.5 … if the odds were a little better. Holmgren’s odds of recording at least 10 rebounds are +225 at DraftKings and +190 at FanDuel. We can do a little better.

Holmgren has scored in double-figures in every game this season, so if we’re willing to bet the rebounds up to double-figures, it only makes sense to bet on a double-double. Two of his three double-doubles have come against teams ranked in the top 10 most generous to opposing rebounders. The Spurs allow the fourth-most rebounds to opponents, setting Holmgren up beautifully to record his fourth double-double.

Josh Giddey Over 5.5 assists (-104 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

It’s been a rough start to the season for Giddey, whose statistical production has waned across the board. He’s averaging fewer than six assists per contest on the season, but he can get there tonight against the Spurs.

The Spurs allow the fourth-most assists to opponents overall (27.6) and on the road (28.8). Both teams rank in the top 8 in pace, and the Spurs sport the third-worst defensive rating in the Association. Giddey handed out 10 assists in his last game, and he's averaged 7.3 across his last three. Plenty of points should be scored in this one, and chances to get teammates involved. His slow start has driven the odds on this prop dangerously low, and we can take advantage. Giddey's poor play hasn’t been for lack of trying, as his 25.3 usage rate is the highest of his young career. We’ll bet on another solid game as a playmaker in a favorable matchup and take the profitable, mispriced odds at FanDuel.

Chet Holmgren + Victor Wembanyama Over 1.5 threes each (+158 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

We’ve got to sprinkle a little on this one, as both ROY contenders have been making it rain this season. Chet is averaging 1.8 triples per contest, and Wemby is averaging 1.7. Holmgren has hit multiple threes in five of his 10 games, and Wemby has done it in seven of 10. We must put this one together as a Same Game Parlay; using our DraftKings promo code will get you the most profitable odds. On the season, the Thunder allow opponents to shoot 38.5% at home (fifth-highest), and the Spurs allow opponents to shoot 46.1% on the road (second-highest).
