Another cracker on the cards

Wednesday night’s match at Old Trafford was a real thriller as Leeds looked fearless against Manchester United despite their poor run of form heading into the game, which ended 2-2.

In front of their own fans, the Whites will be expected to put on a similar display of attacking football and they certainly have the personnel to cause the Red Devils problems.

Leeds have looked good going forward this season, scoring 28 goals in 21 Premier League games. Only Leicester have scored more out of the teams in the bottom half.

However, conceding has also been a problem with the defence chopping and changing because of injuries and form. They have the fourth worst defensive record in the league.

Despite their frailty at the back, they play a Man United side who have not been in great form recently with Erik ten Hag’s men winning only one of their past four games in the Premier League.

The Red Devils have looked good in attack but no clean sheet in five games might be cause for concern for Ten Hag.

Leeds vs Manchester United tip 1: Draw and both teams to score @ 7/2 with Betfred

Rashford to hurt Leeds again

For the first hour of Wednesday’s game, Marcus Rashford did not get much of a look-in and it could have ended up being a night of frustration for the 25-year-old.

Ten Hag made the change to bring Wout Weghorst off and put Rashford through the middle. It instantly paid off, with the England forward scoring a fantastic header.

He is enjoying arguably the best season of his career and is looking more clinical when it comes to taking chances.

Rashford has bagged 23 times for club and country this season and his form since the World Cup has been stunning – 12 goals in 14 games.

With the Leeds defence susceptible, United will also try to punish the Whites from set pieces, particularly if they can get the ball out wide and attack the opposing full backs.

Leeds vs Manchester United tip 2: Marcus Rashford to score and Man Utd to take over 3.5 corners @ 6/4 with Betfred

Firpo set for a tough afternoon

Leeds’ usual left back Pascal Struijk was withdrawn because of concussion symptoms on Wednesday evening with Firpo replacing him.

The former Barcelona man has struggled for form since making the move from Catalonia last summer, and this season he has not had many minutes on the pitch.

Going forward, he looks effective but he has struggled defensively and picked up a yellow card for a foul on Rashford.

Last season, he collected 11 bookings in 24 Premier League games and the Red Devils will try to exploit his weaknesses.

Leeds vs Manchester United tip 3: Junior Firpo to be carded @ 6/4 with Betfred
